Tony Hogarth
FOUNDER

With over 40 years of leading firms and guiding teams in Brisbane and Regional Queensland, Hogarth Law founder Tony Hogarth is a principled lawyer who seeks to understand his clients' viewpoints, challenges, and opportunities in every matter. His background is extensive, with partnership roles at several large firms in Brisbane, including 7 years as a Partner of Mullins Lawyers and 21 years with MacDonnells Law.

Chris Hogarth
SOLICITOR

Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and was admitted as a solicitor in December 2016. Since his admission, Chris has worked in a number of firms with a focus on property law. He joined Hogarth Law in 2023.

Helena Oghanna
Paralegal

Helena provides administrative support to the Firm’s solicitors across a range of legal matters. Helena is currently completing her Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) studies through Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and is expected to graduate in 2027.

His style is one that focuses on creating a positive working relationship with his clients, and he builds responsive, friendly, and trustworthy teams to complement his own style.

His background is extensive, with partnership roles at several large firms in Brisbane, including 7 years as a Partner of Mullins Lawyers and 21 years with MacDonnells Law. To bring his vision to life across an entire practice, Hogarth Law was created to provide experienced and empathetic legal advice for clients in business, corporate advisory, property, and migration law, as well as personal legal matters such as wills and estate planning.

A Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia, Tony is a Member of the Queensland Law Society and the Migration Institute of Australia. He was a board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ) for six years. He has built strong commercial and cultural ties across key business communities. He has also been an active member of multicultural business organizations such as the Australia Japan Society (Cairns Chapter), Australian Latin America Business Council (ALABC), Australia China Business Council, and the German Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Tony presents at seminars, conferences, and continuing professional development courses on various aspects of law and participates in a range of community activities to support those around him.

Graduating from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1983, Tony has built an impressive list of Professional Body Memberships, Affiliations, and Leadership roles including currently:

More About Chris Hogarth

Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and was admitted as a solicitor in December 2016.

Since his admission, Chris has worked in a number of firms with a focus on property law. He joined Hogarth Law in 2023.

Chris assists his clients in all aspects of transactions, including undertaking and managing due diligence enquiries, preparation of documentation and negotiations on behalf of clients. His services include all areas of property law, acquisition and sale, leasing and securities, incorporation of entities and restructuring advice.

Chris’ approach is to keep legal advice as practical and straightforward as possible for his clients, while ensuring they are fully advised on their rights, obligations, and legal issues in order to make informed decisions in their transactions.
